Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor | BACP & NCPS Member
I undertook my training as a therapeutic counsellor and mentor after working for many years in environments which did not align with my own personal values and beliefs. Seeking to make a meaningful impact, I transitioned to independent practice five years ago.
I am now pleased to operate a successful mentoring and counselling practice, working in accordance with my core principles, in a person-centred approach, recognising we are all unique and have differing strengths and needs.
I feel privileged to support a diverse range of adults and adolescents as they pursue their journeys of self-discovery.
I support my ongoing learning, keep up-to-date and informed on current issues and extend my knowledge through continued professional practice. Recent CPD includes:
As a BACP qualified and registered therapist, I follow their Ethical Framework to ensure I work in a safe and ethical manner.
I attend regular supervision with a BACP qualified supervisor to support my practice with clients.
I hold an Enhanced Certificate with the Disclosure & Barring Service.
I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) as a Data Controller.
I hold insurance with limits of £1,000,000 professional indemnity and £5,000,000 public liability.
If you are considering counselling and would like to learn more about my work, you are welcome to get in touch.
I offer a free 20-minute online consultation to give us the opportunity to discuss what has brought you to seek support and whether counselling with me may be helpful for you.
You can contact me by email or phone, or use the contact form to arrange an initial conversation.
